Im sorry dear diary. Havent been able to write you in quite some time. Been busy working. HAHAHA! Right ? No, who am I kidding ? They've assigned me to coach the riders in CL, DH and HL. Not a single improvement since I came. :-D Skogstad had a point in HL, but that was before I joined the coaching staff! Hilarious! I just tell those in charge that they simply arent good enough and unable to unable to improve. They're not even on to me yet. Those clever Norwegians.
Although, lately, it has come to my attention that perhaps Norwegians arent the only ones being stupid. And because the booze in Norway is ridiculously expensive I might start some tutoring on the side. I know it sounds like a desperate measure, but how else am I going to get money ? Need those dollars to buy pretty girls drinks, otherwise I wont get any!
After following the team around and looking at the competition I am quite shocked. Many teams dont realise the importance of race experience. I mean, hello! Experience is needed in every sport and could in many cases make up for physical abilites. Its like they dont even seem to understand the whole concept. Even I understand it. And I spend most my days drunk! Hah!
Not only that, but many teams even disregard team spirit! Haha, its a team sport for christs sake! Why should TS matter ? Right ? Well except for those puny TT-teams though. Thats probably why the stick to TT. Dont understand the whole TS thing. I dont approve of them. Mediocre climbers and all-rounders. Those are the riders one can respect. And the teams running around with shitty bikes that look like they are about to fall apart any second. Guess they need to invest some more in equipment.
So yeah. Plenty to tudor about! I think there might be something to this whole thing! I mean, I am great at coaching, so why shouldnt this tutoring thing work ? Bring on the money, bring on the booze, bring on the girls!
Anyways. Just to make sure noone will be offended. This diary is about ocm and cycling.
